IMI, Inc. (IMI) is a 100% SBA certified small business construction company with a record of expertise and experience in renovation and new construction projects. Organized in 1975, and under its present ownership since 1982, IMI and our key personnel have performed construction services on occupied monumental historical buildings for the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), U.S. Department of Agriculture (National Agricultural Library), John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, State of Maryland General Accounting Office, National Park Service, Department of Labor, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and many other Military and Government Agencies.

IMI has the ability to manage multiple simultaneous complex projects. We successfully completed two consecutive five-year Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts at the Research Facilities in Beltsville, Maryland with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. During our 10 year contract period, we completed over 150 projects at a value of approximately $40 million. IMI also performed rapid response emergency work ranging from $1 million to $5 million.

Currently, IMI is executing a 5 year IDIQ contract with the Architect of the Capitol (AOC).

Our objective is to resolve issues in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with safety, quality of workmanship and labor standards. Our previous experience demonstrates our success in achieving these essential objectives.

IMI’s management capability is demonstrated in the administration of each project we complete. We have the depth of qualified personnel and subcontractors and the infrastructure to provide quality design and construction services. Projects are completed timely and on budget.
